"There are exciting times ahead for Clacton Factory Outlet. ROM Capital (Clacton) Limited, the Company that own the centre has recently heard that all of its planning applications have been approved - giving the green light for modern "eco" cladded fascias and covered malls, plus outline planning to improve and extend the facilities on site with a Garden Centre, Pub/Restaurant, Drive Through Restaurant and trade outlets with possible plans for play centre facilities also in the pipeline.Over the next few years ROM Capital will be making further significant financial investment in the site with the aim of providing a top class shopping facility for the people of the Clacton and surrounding areas.On Saturday 27th September the Chairman of Tendring District Council, Councillor Roy Smith, and Clacton Carnival Queen Dana Sayadi officially opened the centre's new themed play area, Pirate Adventure Island and various representatives from Clacton businesses and Tendring District Council were also in attendance. Pictured are Jayne Scott and Judith Winward from Ellisons solicitors who now have a fourth office in Clacton on Sea to add to their offices in Colchester, Frinton on Sea and Dovercourt, and Daren Burney, Chief Executive of ROM Capital Group, who were present at the opening".
