Penny Humphries is a lawyer in the Probate Department. She first joined Ellisons in 1971 as a legal secretary at our Dovercourt Office. Penny soon decided she wanted a future in law and she commenced her legal training along the route of the legal executive, both by attending law classes and by correspondence courses until qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. Penny remained with Ellisons for sixteen years.

Penny continued her legal career in Colchester and after nine years rejoined Ellisons in 2005, bringing with her years of experience in the area of administration of estates; wills; powers of attorney and Court of Protection.
